Pool Day at the St. Joe Overlook

Days like today are why we love our pool. The St. Joe Overlook vacation rental is well-known for the large pool and beautiful views, and getting to enjoy the Summer weather here is one of our favorite times of year. It is our first weekend of solid 80 degrees Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and we are thrilled for our guests to have such great weather for their stay! The water typically starts the season in the high 50’s and low 60’s, but by this time of year it is consistently in the 70’s. (Sidenote, we are pursuing options for a pool heater to lengthen our pool season, so that is in the works).

Our 40’ x 20’ pool at the St. Joe Overlook is over 8 feet deep in the deep end and about 3 foot 6 inches in the shallow end. The pool gets solid sunshine nearly all day and only starts to be shaded by the trees in the late afternoon as the sun heads down behind the river.

Not to worry about too much sun though! We have two large umbrellas to take shelter from the sunshine if needed. We hope you enjoy using this feature at the St. Joe Overlook, we sure do enjoy it!
